Agkon Construction SA. founded in 2007 and is located in 18 Papanastasiou Str., in Daphne, Athens (Greece). Our company’s focus is to provide reliable, efficient and quality services in design, construction and renovation of buildings and residencies. The modern concept in project management resulted in the rapid and dynamic development of the company and in establishing a strong presence in the construction industry.
Based on modern materials and “green” technology, the aim is the creation of even construction projects with modern technological standards, which are characterized by high quality and energy efficiency.
The company’s basic characteristic is adhesion to its basic principles, which revolve around human needs and serve aesthetics and efficiency.
To offer consistent quality services, to ensure a successful professional course in Greek market, to maintain and increase its market share, to satisfy the requirements and meet the expectations of its customers, while respecting the legal provisions and social institutions (safety, environmental respect etc.) are some of the company’s objectives. Main objective of the company is the continuous improvement of its overall image.
Agkon Construction SA. operates with a growing turnover by having complete expertise (know how), the appropriate staff, impeccable organization, control of human, administrative, material and technical factors affecting quality, while constantly enhancing its organizational structure and therefore its function.

Safety Regulation
The technicians of Agkon Construction SA are required to comply with the principles of Integrated Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Greek Law:
- To grant workers with appropriate personal equipment and to ensure its proper use.
- To cooperate with the Safety Technician in order to identify and assess the risks arising and propose specific prevention measurements to be applied.
- To check the appropriateness of the means (tools and materials) used.
- To inform employees of the risks arising and how to implement the legislative provisions of health and safety at work.
- To supervise adequately for the safe operation of project undertaken and protect everyone involved.
Personnel
- Our company employs qualified personnel for the implementation of each and every project and takes all the necessary measures throughout each project so as to prevent an occupational accident.
- The company undertakes the obligation to replace and damage that might be caused to your property by our personnel, during the project.
- In case of occupational accident while on the "STAVROS NIARCHOS FOUNDATIONL CULTURAL CENTRE" the Contracting Authority is not responsible.
- The contractor is obliged to have all the necessary equipment for the completion of the project.
- With the prices offered the Contracting Authority is discharged from any further obligation such as insurance contributions (Social Security or other social insurance funds), taxes of any kind, licenses and employee benefits.
- Our company will appoint supervisor who will be responsible for the proper execution of the project, the observance of safety rules and proper appearance and behavior of the personnel.
Organization
- Agkon Construction SA has appointed and announced in writing to the relevant Centre for Occupational Risk Prevention the Safety Technician for security operations.
- The whole personnel are trained in prevention of accidents.
- Agkon Construction SA grants the personnel the opportunity of First Aid.
- Safety signs and fences will be put to warn and prohibit the approach in hazardous areas.
- All the mechanical equipment will be well maintained. The handling of vehicles and equipment will be performed by experienced and licensed operators.
- Special lifting machinery and equipment must be certified by an approved Certification Body and checked regularly.
Safety Measures
- Agkon Construction SA provides the necessary equipment for workers and guests (i.e. helmet, shoes, gloves, belts, etc.)
- Supervise the proper use of safety equipment.
- Employees in height will be secured from the risk of falling with guardrail and safety belts.
- Work equipment will be used only by qualified and licensed workers.
Workplace
- Agkon Construction SA takes account of the conditions in the workplace and does not overlook the fact that other employees work simultaneously in the same area. All necessary precautions to avoid causing problems and risks to other employees are taken.
- Agkon Construction SA ousts workers that do not comply with the regulations.
